The Council was right, in fact in 2011 these various festivals generated £261m of additional expenditure in the Scottish economy. Nowadays a new figure is nominated as head of the organization, this shows as the willpower of the Council is continuing to invest on Art and Culture. She is Julia Amour and the organization now is called Thundering Hooves 2 and the goals are always improving and developing Edinburgh as the world’s leading festival city.
